All makeup classes canceled by CT Swim Lessons will be held the following Sunday’s at the same time, unless otherwise noted .


REGISTRATION BEGINS December 21st for currently enrolled swimmers. December 23rd opens to all.




10 am Parent and Child •5 months-18 months • This class is a gentle introduction that helps your baby acclimate to the water and swim lessons. Learning is child based and child led though lots of songs and games that introduce basic introductory water skills such as blowing bubbles,submersion,  breath control, kicking and floating. Parent(s) or guardian  must accompany the child in the water. Babies who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.


10 am Advanced 

This class is for children who already know front crawl and backstroke, are comfortable swimming at least one entire lap, comfortable jumping into the deep end and can overall swim independently.  This class will help refine strokes so participants swim with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness and over greater distances. Children must be able to learn in the deep end of pool. The objective of the advanced class is for students to develop confidence and improve on the front and back crawl, treading water and breaststroke, while also being introduced to the butterfly stroke and seated and standing diving. 


10:35 am. Parent and Child •19 months-3 years•

This class is a gentle introduction that helps your toddler acclimate to the water and lessons. Learning is child based and child led though lots of songs and games that introduce basic introductory water skills such as blowing bubbles,submersion, breath control, kicking and floating. Parent(s) or guardian must accompany the child in the water. Toddlers who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.


10:35 am Intermediate

Children must be able to learn in the middle and deep end of pool. Prerequisites include prior completion of a beginners course.  Children will be introduced to: Front crawl mastery; Back crawl mastery; Introduction to breaststroke; treading water; rotary breathing. 


11:05 am Preschool 3-5 years

Preschool is designed for children who have completed at least one round of parent and child with CT Swim Lessons. This class is a fun and gentle approach to the level I skills and will be taught at each child’s comfort level with familiar songs and games. Children are expected to be able to sit independently on the steps, follow basic instructions and rules, and be comfortable in the water without parent. 


 11:05 am Advanced beginners

Children must be able to go under water comfortably, put their face in the water and learn/stand in the shallow end of the pool. Children will continue working on: rollover back to front; Independent front and back stroke development/refinement. Independent floats. 

11:40 am Beginners

Children will be introduced to: Submerging mouth, nose, and eyes; blowing bubbles; Breath control ; Jumping into the water; Back float; Front float; Front and back stroke development.
